Inspector Recruiting Hub

The core goal of this project was to transform the existing, text-heavy exo inspector informational page into a high-conversion landing page to support a recruitment campaign. By simplifying the page's structure and adding prominent calls-to-action (CTAs) for job applications and event surveys, I successfully converted static content into a dynamic recruiting hub.

The Problem

The Problem

The original exo inspector webpage was fundamentally a lengthy, text-based document, making it difficult for users to read and quickly extract key information. The challenge was two-fold:

  • Low Readability: The dense content structure risked losing the reader's attention.

  • Conversion Gap: The page was not designed to drive action; it needed to be redesigned to function as a landing page for the campaign, encouraging both job applications and open house attendance.

Goals

Goals

The primary objectives of this conversion project were to:

  • Maximize Open House Attendance: Clearly communicate event details and drive users to register interest via an anonymous survey.

  • Drive Job Applications: Provide clear, high-contrast CTAs linking directly to the job application portal.

  • Enhance Readability and Appeal: Transform the existing content into user-friendly components (e.g., cards, feature blocks) to make the page more appealing and engaging.

  • Improve UX: Consolidate all necessary information onto a single page to reduce clicks and improve the overall user experience.

My Process

My Process

Working on a strict five-day deadline, my process was focused on speed and content prioritization.

Rapid Prototyping

On day one, I was briefed and immediately created a low-fidelity Figma model for initial review, ensuring quick alignment on the page's new direction.

Information Hierarchy Refinement

After the first review, I modified content hierarchy to place high-conversion elements (CTAs and event information) at the top. The revised model was quickly approved.

Integration & Collaboration

The two to three days that followed were spent on integration, which involved collaborating with a graphic designer to create necessary new custom icons and working with an integrator to build and embed the anonymous Microsoft CRM survey for measuring open house interest.

Deployment

A swift quality assurance check was performed to confirm content accuracy and functional links before the page was immediately published, ensuring it was live on time for the campaign launch.

The Solution

The Solution

The final solution successfully converted the informational page into a high-impact recruitment landing page.

  • Prominent CTAs: Two new high-value components were added near the top: one encouraging immediate job application and one promoting the open house event.

  • Content Transformation: The original text-heavy content was preserved but reframed into visually appealing and scannable components (e.g., feature cards, sections with icons) to enhance readability and maintain user attention.

  • Integrated Feedback Mechanism: An anonymous interest survey was embedded directly onto the page, allowing the recruitment team to gauge attendance interest without requiring users to leave the landing page.

  • Improved UX: The single-page design strategy ensured the user had all necessary information (job details, event details, application link) in one place, reducing clicks and improving clarity.

Learnings

Learnings

The project's greatest challenge was the tight deadline while managing other responsibilities, which required rigorous time management and efficient collaboration with the graphic designer and fellow integrator. This project reinforced the critical learning of balancing existing information with urgent CTAs—every piece of content was kept, but its presentation and priority were adjusted to maintain readability while successfully driving conversions. The immediate goal of the page (recruitment) took precedence over static content presentation.

Next Steps

Next Steps

As planned, once the open house events concluded (November 4 and 6, 2025), the embedded interest survey was taken down to prevent user confusion, ensuring the page retained its value as an informational hub linked to the active job application portal.
